Wondering if it was a machine sorting fuck up. I have had mail that looked like someone cut the tops off it and then once piece had the top removed and the contents mostly ripped out. Asked mail lady next day and she said occassionaly the machines just fuck your shit up and she does not even notice until she grabs the stacks for our street.
