This is a very important and holy week for Orthodox Christians.
Orthodox Christians use a different calendar from Roman Catholics and Protestants, so their celebration of Easter usually falls on a different date from the rest of Christianity .
Members of the area’s Eastern Orthodox Christian churches will celebrate the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ this weekend.
Many Orthodox Christians will take part in family dinners and other festivities that will feature ethnic foods such as roasted lamb, red-dyed eggs and decorative bread studded with eggs.
Happy Easter !
