Yep, being sued over "street view". They claim that "all you need to do is complain" (paraphrasing), and they'll remove it.
I simply call it the "youtube defense" and I truly wonder how long it'll last the way it is now.
I discussed this on another site where people were disputing whether or not a person could transcribe a piece of music, by ear, and then provide it on a website as either sheet music, or guitar tablature. I proposed that they simply use the 'youtube' process by which if someone submits something that another someone claims is copyrighted, just remove it. Where else does one look on the internet for a standard if not google?
Also, maps.live.com is pretty nifty too with their "birdseye" views. I think you have to use IE to use it though.
