We were inspired by the "smiles" program, a program which helps children around the world with cleft lip or cleft palate.. In 3rd world coutries this easily fixable disease is left untreated and the children go on living lives with facial deformity.

IF treated at an early age it is almost undetectable as an adult.


With my healthcare background along with my wife's as well as having the ability to afford plastic surgery and healthcare for a child we chose to go the Cleft lip/palate route.

This girl will be a princess here with us.. In China she would be left behind and a circus freak.. (shit you not)

Her life would be unimaginable. Not just as a female Orphan in China, but as a girl with a deformed face.
