It's a sponge pudding with raisins. Traditionally its covered in custard, the tin stuff is crap but the fresh pudding is very good if you can still find it in the UK. Like chip butties ( white bread covered in butter and layered with huge fries more butter and a topping of more bread ) Its another British health food
