Disarming the civilian population so that criminals can rob and rape you at will is no answer.
Maybe some mandatory gun ownership training would be a good idea, but a total ban on guns is..... idiotic. Anyone like this brainiac who thinks this way will wish like hell they had a way to defend their home if a crook breaks in and ties them up and makes them watch while they rape their wife and daughter. Yes, do nothing is the *best bet*..... riiight. Better yet, you could pay Gman to protect you.
