That's the thing. For me, the winner of the Champions League should mean you are one of the best, if not the best team in Europe.

Liverpool clearly are not, as they can't even come close to winning the English league. They struggle to finish in the top 3 most years.


I blame UEFA for that though. The Champions League should be for "Champions". The top 4 teams in England, Spain etc all enter the Champions League stage. So thats the reason why we now have teams who can't even win their own domestic league championships, becoming "Champions Of Europe". It's all wrong...
