Well... all of a sudden I'm getting this message when I try to load photoshop...

"Unable to continue because of hardware or system error. Sorry, but this error is unrecoverable"

...then of course the only option is to QUIT.

I've done a re-start and a uninstall and reinstall of the program, still get the same error. If anyone could help, be much appreciated. I used photoshop everyday so this was a nice shit on my day... I have about a 6 or 7 yr old Sony VAIO and Win XP.
