I have 2 pugs and pugs need to be with you ALL the time. That inlcudes the bathroom. I never shut my doors, so of course, there they are. I've gotten used to it over the years. In my downstairs bathroom, where my cat is (where my dogs aren't allowed), my cat goes in there with me. I'd probably feel lonely in there now if I had to go all by myself
