There are MANY female jazz singer who can sing as well as or better than Norah Jones. Do you think if that exact record had been put out by a 300 lb. blind black woman it still would have won album of the year? I seriously doubt it. Norah has musical talent AND drop dead gorgeous looks. I'm not trying to take either from her. I'm just pointing out that in the marketing of NJ her looks have helped a great deal.
