I'll third that notion, as I currently have it up and running on a Vista box, too.
Out of the 4 computers I regularly use in my life, 2 of them have Vista installed on them, and, honestly, I prefer it. Nearly all of the (minor) issues I had with the OS were resolved in SP1... but even before SP1, I couldn't see what all the fuss was about. Maybe if you don't have at least 2 gigs of RAM on the box, I could see where it'd be a problem (it is a bit resource-heavy), but, provided you have that, I'm curious as to what the specific issues are. If you have vendors who still don't have drivers that work (which I don't) - I'm thinking you should blame the vendors.
