Let me start by thanking all the sponsors of this contest that chipped in. I think you all did a good thing here and I can?t thank you enough.

Now I also need to say that this came down to several different people, a few from each of the forums I posted this on. I have been reading posts over and over again and a few really effected me. I just couldn?t decide on my own so I asked for some help and we all petty much came up with the same names. I took those names, went back to the various forums and read their posts again and again. This contest is important to me and means a lot. I didn?t want to jump in to any thing.

I finally threw out a name and ran it past the others. They thought it was a good choice. I could go on and on about how everyone we considered deserves to win just as much as the other the one that did but, in the end, there can only be one. So without further ado here is the winning post as posted.

I was saddened to hear of his passing and especially the situation with which he was found. I dont feel Im above anyone but I do want to try and have the chance to win this contest as I feel Im worthy of it.

I started in the adult business just before the year 2000 - I was self taught. I have tried each and everyday since to learn something. On August 14th 2003 I was married and as many of the people from the USA know it wa sthe day of the great blackout...which should have been a sign...not for a bad marriage but for the black cloud that would follow.

My wife had a stroke 2 days after we were married. She had 3 children from a previous marriage that I suddenly and without any question had to take care of, which I did...along with caring for her. She spent most of the next week in ICU at the local hospital and once able was transferred to rehab hospital. We spent the next 7 weeks travelling each day to and from that facility (myself as she stayed there) This also came with the 3 kids starting strange new schools and adjusting to life here. We made it through that, after 19 weeks my wife was able to walk, talk and take care of herself..with just some residual effects to hot and cold.

This isnt an attempt to win with a sob story as she has done well and we have moved on. Its more a story of perserverance and taking care of business.
I remained in adult until the end of 2004 beginning of 2005 when record keeping and what we know now as 2257, the site that I owned and ran much like voyeurweb (it was peepersweb.net) I shut down, living here in the US and because my main content was that sent in by surfers, I was not covered I just couldnt chance myself nor my family with that scenario of being nabbed and I surley didnt want to be in violation.
I have regrouped to hit the ground running this past fall..2007 and have made great strides in learning whats new with the business and how things have changed, stayed the same and grown. I have learned each and everyday Ive been back and feel I am on track to make it once again in the adult web world. This contest and all it offers would solidify that notion and really kickstart it for lack of a better word. if I should win it, id be very grateful as I have made some great friends since Ive been back and I enjoy the ideas that are bounced aorund and also the BS that comes down the pipe..because we all need a good laugh now and then.
The opportunity would not go wasted and Id be able to keep my feet firmly planted within the adult web world once again. A place I truly believe I belong and am capable of staying and doing the best I can every day I can.

Thanks for the opportunity to share my story. And I just want to say in closing that I feel Id be the most deserving because I have nothing but respect for what it is we do..and the winnings would not go to waste.
