Jordan is a legend, he sold a lot of shoes, his market value is through the roof. Most people will never really understand it all, due to smokescreens. It's preposterous to believe Jordan didn't have a good team. Every guard must have a good team. You can survive bad teams with centers, not guards.
Kobe's actual game is all around better at this stage in his career. Jordan had, for all intents and purposes, two careers. One in the paint, and one from the perimeter. Kobe has both games simultaneously.
Kobe is the Ted Williams of the NBA, not the most liked guy and most likely never an MVP due to that.
I would take Kobe over Jordan. I would take Shaq in his prime, over both of them.
