Yes you're right, they're very careful down here ... the % of hookers with HIV is extremely low actually.
And no, being a vegetarian I did not go for the stakes, though I did try a fillet once in Uruguay, Punta del Este to be exact ... last meat I ever ate and probably the best... the knife just slided right through it without any effort like if it was made out of butter .... oh man that was some good fucking meat !!
