It was quite a sight, watching him get off the plane, looking like Grizzly Adams on one side, and all buzz cut on the other side - and lugging a big old duffle bag loaded with tools AND clothes...you would had to have seen it - it was hilarious!

i actually just got off the phone a couple hours ago with a friend of mine who works in the arctic in the oil fields. he said today, he got off the plane and it was only -25... but he lives in vegas and said it was 80 or so when he left.
cold sucks. i couldn't wait to get out of there when i was growing up.
