this is a funny paradox of ultra left liberalism... the unspoken reasoning is basically "you're too incompetent, too ignorant, too irresponsible to be held accountable for anything and basically incapable of taking care of yourself... so, since we know whats better for you, we will step in, in the form of government, take your money, control your life, protect you from absolutely anything bad and make sure you or any individual is never held accountable for anything"
