Little tip for those who know they're probably about to go through a messy divorce:

Go to vegas. Better yet, go often.

Gamble, a lot. Buy things to prove you were gambling during these days. Stay at a nice hotel.

Bring a large chunk of money, then get a lot more when you're there. Max out your credit cards. Go into as much debt as you can.

Stash the majority of the money in a safe deposit box.

Get home, tell your wife how unlucky you were, but that you've had a lot of time to think and... that you're ready to sign the papers.
