she might just have bad eyesight and be staring off into space.... I know I do that alot
I wouldn't push it too much unless she made more of a gesture like brushing your shoulder or asking you something outright
some people like to play games and she might have just sensed that you were on the shy side so she got a kick out of intimidating you
be careful, nothing ruins an evening more than rejection or worse yet, a guy that she is there with deciding its rumble time
