Montreal has a good team, no doubt. And even better for them is an overall weak Eastern conference and history: Remember when a couple of other rookie goaltenders started for the Habs in the playoffs? It could be Price's turn this year.

However, they have to get past a very good Penguins team.

In the West San Jose is getting attention but in 10 years of playoff appearances they've made it out of the 2nd round exactly once. They are world-class playoff chokers. Detroit is still too soft and Anaheim looks solid to repeat, as hard as that is.

So as boring as it is, I'll be expecting a Penguins/Ducks final. Dark horses: NY Rangers, Washington, Colorado.
