I'm 36 years old, done just about everything you can imagine in the employment sector.

Worked in the commercial/film production market for 5 years in Los Angeles, managed fast food restauraunts for 7, I've worked for the Six Flags Amusement Park for 5 started as a technician in the games department (specifically asst. foreman over the arcade shop), and had a few odd jobs here and there...anyway my point is I've worked for other people, and other people suck.

I spent 7 prime years of my life working up to 70 hours a week for the Taco Bell corporation, pushing so hard to make my store the #1 in growth only to be making someone else rich.

While at the same time seeing less of my family and friends.

I now work just as hard, and at times the hours are just as long.

But I can get up and walk away from my desk and see my family who is just in the other room. I work in comfortable attire, mainly shorts t-shirt and I hate to wear fucking shoes.
Hell sometimes I'm not even wearing the shorts Boxer briefs baby.

The money is good and gets better all the time.

The ideas that I come up with benefit me and my partner directly, sometimes they work sometimes they don't, but when they do I see the benefits.

I don't have to worry about some Distric Manager screwing me out of my raise, and I don't have to worry about some fucked up corporate formula screwing me out of my bonus.

If this is what you want, or think is all that is out there then by all means go for it, just leaves more room for the rest of us to grow richer
Amen brother!

You and I think quite alike.

Personally I would like to work in the adult biz for another 5 years or so then have enough invested in rental income properties and financial investments that I can live comfortably off that for the rest of my life.

I will still work of course but this will allow me to focus my life on doing things I really want to do. Such as travelling, working towards attaining a masters degree and enjoying life the way it is meant to be enjoyed. Not slaving away working in some office making piddly wages and kissing corporate ass so I can just get that 5-6% bonus at the end of the year.

I honestly believe if I can make it, anyone can. It's all a question of their motivation, discipline and work ethic.
