I've always respected women, but, yeah... I used to get my tongue stuck in my throat from time to time...
However, life's been a lot easier in that regard since I realized my girlfriend (now fiancee) was the one... even women I might be attracted to are just 'other people' now.
I can appreciate a beautiful woman as I can a fine piece of art... but not a whole lotta point in thinking about a party that's not gonna happen, ya know.
