Basically this about sums it up..

Normally the person who says "cool tat bro" normally has a tattoo that is not even prison worthy. To make it worse they feel if you both have "tats" it's like your are in some personal gang and can just randomly chat about your "ink"

It's rather annoying.

Just like people who call it a tattoo gun.
