I get 18 MPG "city" (I live in the boonies and I drive up and down the mountains - kinda of hard to call it the city, lol!) and 20-21 MPG on the HWY in my SUV and it seats 7. I figure that's better than the 25-30 MPG econoboxes that only seat 4
And yes, most of the times we do take the SUV instead of taking 2 cars.
