Just checked out your site. This is fantastic. I worked in Porn Valley during college, and one thing that always irked me was professors who quite obviously had no experience in the industry and no connection to women in the industry but nonetheless felt completely at liberty to nominate themselves as mouthpieces for those women--generally as a means to promote their own intellectual/political agendas, which--since they are professors--are of course inextricably bundled up with their professional/financial interests.
I always wanted to say, "I don't think you know what you're talking about...why don't you let these women speak for themselves? or at least talk to them once or twice yourself before putting words in their mouths?" Wish I'd known about this group at the time.
