Other times, you could go to his apartment, see that he was home through a slit in the blinds, knock on the door, knowing he was home, and he wouldn't answer. That doesn't make him a bad friend, or a bad person. He just liked to be alone some times.

BUT! It doesn't make any of us bad people for not "checking on him sooner". People did check on him, on ICQ, on the phone AND in person. A deceased man can't type back, answer the phone, or answer the door.

RIP TexasDreams. We worked together and shared jokes for over a few years. When you were leaving ICS for a new opportunity, so was I. We spent our last "two weeks" at the same time as short timers together. We had many a joke about it, and you'll be missed. You don't have to have a family, to have a 'family'.

I'll drink a glass of Jack Daniels fresh out of the freezer for you.

Yes this was Mark to a T. I'm sure you can imagine our employee who lived in his complex feels like unbelievably upset that he never did more, even though he WAS over there knocking on Mark's door.. but again he knew his phases, assumed that Mark was not answering, and left him alone. That, and Mark was always pretty open about what he'd do to someone coming uninvited into his home... It's such a sad, unfortunate thing and we all feel so terrible and so much loss, there aren't even words to begin to express how tragic it all is... But it's the people who remember him that keep him alive in our hearts, and Mark definitely touched a lot of people.
