Selling old or vintage items online? ebay sucks ass? *BIZ THREAD*

Okay so I have a bunch of old household goods to sell, and other yard sale type items but not just junk I want to toss.

Pre-2000 I sold things like crazy on ebay. Now I go to ebay and check out listings for items I have to see what is selling, and it looks like a graveyard with all the ZEROs I see for bids, and items not even moving.

Is there a better place than ebay to list decent items for sale? Somewhere I can get at least 20 bucks an item and make it worth my time?

I know Craigslist is good, but I don't want to have to deal with a bunch of local people or anything like that. Maybe some way to still work it?

I can't believe ebay looks so shitty. There has to still be a market for people who like decent deals online? Ebay used to be cool and exciting, now its filled with crap from China and its just terrible. Obviously they are making mad money from squeezing sellers. I already owe them a few bucks on some things I listed that got barely 30 hits and made big fat zero dollars. Fuckers.

I don't like being a web consumer too much, I need to make money not pay ebay crappy fees for nothing. Help!
