Now it seems even they are moving in a direction away from united negro college fund and more towards UNCF.
Today, when negro is used outside of a historic context you raise a few eyebrows. Especially when trying to use it as a racial term in a modern context. Which is exactly why I think it's no longer acceptable to be used as such.
