Everyone has their own preferences, and each has a right to their own opinions but I always find it amusing how there are so many on here that bash other countries without ever living anywhere outside their own borders. And that goes for the US bashers as well.
There is no end to arguing about any countries policies ... the actual day to day life is what interests me.

(And living in the SF/Bay area is like a different country compared to most of the US)
