It's not going to happen. As much as I like Kurt Angle he hasn't even began to train MMA, and even as a former Olympic gold medalist his amateur wrestling can only take him so far. Brock Lesnar had a solid 2 years of MMA training before he stepped foot in a cage (I think it was a year plus when he fought Min Soo Kim and then a little over 2 years when he fought Frank Mir), and he dedicated his entire life to it when he decided to do it. I really don't believe Kurt Angle is going to quit professional wrestling to dedicate himself to training MMA.
I also question whether he could even pass a physical. Back in 2003 Angle was supposed to have an extremely serious neck surgery to remove damaged discs and fuse his vertebrae together. It is a common injury for pro wrestlers (the same surgery ended Steve Austin's in ring career), and it usually takes over a year to recover from. Angle instead opted to have an unconventional alternative surgery where they only removed portions of the discs and didn't fuse the vertebrae, and he was back wrestling in a few months. That is largely why he became addicted to painkillers, and I don't know if it ever healed correctly...
