Think of the stupid shit you got up to [or get up to] when you were that age. Just because they *are* teachers don't mean they're human beings, with all the various tendancies etc of a regular 2o somehing year old.
It's by no means a justification for what they're doing, but if you put it in the context of : a 24 year old girl hung out with a 17 year old boy for 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, and they ended up fucking - it sounds completely reasonalbe.

One of these teachers was 40 the other 45. That being said, putting teachers( male or female ) under 28 around students reaching sexual maturity is kind of asking for trouble. If you're not old enough to go to your 10 year high school re-union, should you be teaching in a high school?
