I wonder how many solo girl sites offer non-recurring memberships? I know we do, so that has an impact on our rebill stats; many people sign up again after their non-recurring 40 day, 3 month or 6 month memberships have expired, so they show up as new sales rather than rebills.

I have wondered if our affiliates would prefer us not to offer the non-rebilling options at all; of course, then they'd miss out on the higher price-point sales.

I know saying this is not a good way to sell our program, but honestly as an affiliate I know it's easier to make money with a little bit of traffic promoting PPS programs; as an indie paysite owner, though, we can only offer revshare. I'm sure in the long run we'd make more money if we could shell out more money to affiliates on the initial sale and be done with it, but we can't afford right now to pay out more than we make. As a webmaster, I think that small programs that only offer the revshare option have other incentives (exclusive content, underexposed, better conversion ratios, etc.) to make it worth promoting them.
