I think you actually did the right thing, hitting her up. As you've said, she seems to have some class, which makes it unlikely she'd be the one to hit you up. She hasn't replied, but WTF, it's been only a day? How do you know she's been online at all? Now calm down before drawing too many conclusions, don't be so insecure about yourself.
