BTW- I have fought in the Persian Gulf, but I never stood in front of anything as a "human shield", when people were shooting at it with missles.... I can respect people's opinion that are anti-war, but do you think Sadaam gives two fucks if those people die? Not likely...
These people understand all of that, and they are still going. They might or might not be wrong, but they are still choosing to go and put their lives at risk for something they believe in. That is almost the very definition of bravery. It is what you and your fellow soldiers did as well. Putting everything on the line for what you believed to be right.

Our enemies can be just as brave as our friends.

Was he brave or stupid? I believe he was very brave.
