I'm sure she doesn't want to get questioned or subpoenaed to testify in a court case about an escort ring in a high profile case and wants to keep her distance.
These girls are being fed to the lions; their lives are collateral damage as the media treats them like either mindless victims or the lowest-of-the-low. Their families are being chased down by the media. It isn't good for their business if they *are* turning tricks for their customers to see them on the news or outed as sex workers; guys do not want to pay top dollar if they think the law and the media are onto the ladies they hire (because then they might be onto their customers, too).
