Indeed. Phuket is
beautiful. Pattaya has the worst beach in all of Thailand. And whatever you do, don't swim in it, it's VERY polluted.
If you must do the beach thing while you're there, go to the
Jomtien side. It's a little better.
The islands that you will be able to view from the Pattaya beach is a waste of time. Don't waste your money. After going to Phuket and the islands around there, you will really be let down.
However.... if you like to party and fuck the dirtiest whores in all of Thailand, you are going to drown in it. Pattaya is non-stop. More whores that you have ever seen in your life. Guaranteed.
