there are good gay sites, owned by big programs, and they are run by gay people. for example, i run the gay sites for lightspeed, and they convert & retain very well thank you. (spamspam)

however, it seems that most people are so fixated on the $35, $40, or $50 per join they can get to one of the "big guys" that they dont see the potential in a well retaining, smaller site that pays on percentage, not per join.

i know site owners who have members that have been around for 6 months, a year, even 2 years or more... now lets see... $50 for a one time join, or 6 months at 60% ($20)... 6x20=$120 value of member to the affiliate... geez... i guess gay people are the only ones who can do math

someone said that all the good gay sites are smaller & run by gay people - and i agree 100%. there are some good ones owned by big programs, but honestly the member areas suck, and i dont see how they can afford $50 per join because i KNOW they cant possibly retain.

that is all.
