Why not do both? Why assume that most people that own these cars don't have charitable endeavors? And even if they don't, it's everybody's right to do with their money as they please. Leave the final judgements for Karma, I say.

I find that those that generate extraordinary wealth for themselves give back to society much more than most in a multitude of areas - paying a lion's share in taxes, employing people, being avid consumers, keeping a bank balance - all things that are quite uncommon but overwhelmingly make the world a better place.
