Don't you think it's swinging back the other way, though?

I mean if the dem base was really that liberal, Kucinich might have been a contender in one of the 18 times he's made a go of it. Plus, you look back through the decades and reflect, was any nominee more liberal than Adlai Stevenson?

And I don't honestly think there's been anyone that qualifies as a liberal contender since Dukakis. Clinton was definitely a moderate and if anything, that seems to me the direction of both parties.

At the end of the day, where the real issues are concerned, is it fair to say that Hillary and McCain are that different from one another?

And when you look at Bubba and Bush Sr. hanging out together, do-gooding, doesn't it all start to feel like pro wrestling?
