Palestinians have used children as young as three, not only for shields, but as actual WEAPONS (bombs)! Most of the homes that the IDF must search for wanted terrorists are booby-trapped. If the Arabs want to protect themselves, they can surrender the wanted terrorists to Israel, making the whole operation unnecessary. The real human shields are the Palestinians that are used to hide Hamas' soldiers and weapons.
