You pretty much covered my thoughts there.......Although the current rap/hip hop/whatever scene definitely encourages a violent lifestyle. Yes, it is the parents responsibility to instill values in their own children but it's not easy when MTV and other music/media sources flaunt the "Thugnificent" way of life.
