Thank you for the info.
I used to base my idea of success on how much money I made. Now my I base my success on how successful my personal relationships are, my self-education, travel, health, and overall well being. Of course many of the people who post on GFY are going to have a much larger net worth than me.
But of course all I have to do is take a quick look around to see that *some* of these people have nowhere near the overall success I that I have. Not that it is a competition because I don't feel that is the proper way to look at it.
I feel the biggest secret to overall success is to recognize toxic people and not allow their words infect you. Instead the way to "win" (agian, not the proper way to look at it but I am using this word as away to commuicate to this specific audience) is to not throw that negativity back at them but to try to help them when they need it. My batting average on this is getting better but I do slip up from time to time.
So why am I even bothering to post this on a chat board? Because someone will read it and perhaps some good will come to them. And since I have begun to live my life this way so many amazing things have happened I cannot even begin to explain. It is interesting that my income and net worth have increased at the same time my former high stress levels have dwindled to almost nothing.
So I wish you the best and thank you for taking the time to comment
By the way, I posted the original message because I was curious at how many "players" took things like the Forbes list at face value. As entrepreneurs and marketers we in fact do not take many things we are exposed to at face value. I am fascinated to speak to people who are mega millionaires and billionaires and discover exactly how much in this world they do take at face value. (no I do not think I am talking to any billionaires on GFY but I do talk to more than one via other channels.
Again, thank you for the information
