This is a great example of another guy that doesn't get search engines so he writes up something to half bash SEO's and cover his ass with his board.
His logic is flawed from the start: First he talks about companies that don't do SEO, then why you should maybe avoid an SEO. Then he says,
"The ability to make money on the Web is not based solely on traffic but rather on your ability to communicate. High volume expensive traffic that leaves your site within seconds serves no financial purpose."
Two things:
1) If you have no traffic, you have nothing to communicate.
2) He knocks SEO's but then says something about high volume expensive traffic.... I started to just read blah blah blah by that point.
And "because in the SEO game, if you ain't on the leader board you ain't in the money." And my response... HAHAHA... Is this a real article?
Then swinging subjects happen again and now we are dealing with psychological triggers. Did he forget that we "must get the people to see your ad/site, first" before any psychological triggers can take place?
Finally we focus on "What the Customer WANTS!"
Well, if you did your Search Engine Optimizations even half way correctly you would be getting in a great deal of targeted people that already know what they want. The trigger is set for you.. Now you just have to sell them.
People don't like the idea that they don't understand search / traffic - so we end up with articles like this.
