You can't use 'I believe they would understand.' because you don't know if they would.
You can fight your little crusades on your own, I leave that stuff up to law enforcement that specializes in dealing with it. If I find anything questionable I go to Cybertip.ca and that is where my role in fixing the problem is finished.
If you were to do that to me, I wouldn't 'understand' I would be pissed. Even if I knew the cause or whatever I would be pissed.
If you want to take on a website then do it on your own, don't bring other people into it no matter what they might 'understand' because when you start talking like that then you're trying to impose your views on others.
