I'm running Windows XP, and I have tried everything I can think of, but I am unable to successfully install Flash player 9.0 and it's driving me nuts!

I've tried download the file to the desktop, and installing it that way.
Doesn't work

I've tried having adobe install it directly from their site..and I always get "Installation failed..please see this url for such and such troubleshooting tips"

I've gone through the trouble shooting tips, checked the internet security options that uses flash and made sure they were enabled..but still no success.

Was just wondering if anyone else HAD problems and figured out what it was and/or some how successfully installed 9.0?
