Real purified water is not really acidic. If you measure the pH-value, you will probably get a acidic result depending on how it was purified but if you add just a really tiny amount of an alkaline substance, the pH-value will be completely alkaline.

If you drink purified water, you should always make sure to get enough natural minerals through your food... mainly vegetables... but you should do that whether you drink purified water or mineral water as the minerals in most mineral waters cannot be really used by your body anyway.
