See my above post - after formatting for a 4th time and re-installing all of my programs it still lagged. Used the ccleaner and it is back to "blazing" - when the machine struggles to open the control panel there is a problem. If your icons don't all appear the instant you open it, it is too slow. (obviously this depands on processor, memory, etc
)
