No, instead of a trial they get a free membership to a scaled down version (but it still has a ton of video and pictures) and they can remain a member of that for life and for free. They have the opportunity to upgrade to a larger version of the site if they wish but they don't have to and you get paid the $35 regardless of if they upgrade or not.
