I personally get sick of hearing people complain about ratios aren't what they used to be an yadda.. yadda.. yadda.. If you run a affiliate program and buy or produce content yet are sick of it being used to sell other programs. Well it's quite simple do something about it.

As an affiliate I build sites to promote paysites. I try to pre-sell and keep the content given out to minimum. I run TGP's and Blogs and I don't use sponsor content to sell add space, dating or webcam programs. I build sites to promote the affiliate programs that I get my content from.

Tube sites and other morons whom give it all away leaving the surfer no reason to sign up hurt guys like me, just the same as it hurts you. How can I compete for traffic against a tube sites whom give it all way for free? Yet there not much I can do about it..

On the flip side if you are a program owner whom buys or produces content.. You have all the power in the world to put a stop to this BS. Yet most of you stand by idle bitching about it and do nothing.

The simple fact is.. The tube sites and babelogs whom give away the most content, don't give a fuck about sending you sales. You think a tube site or 90% of the babelogs whom host their own galleries could pay for their B/W if they didn't use your content to sell text adds, dating and webcam memberships?

I remember all the bitching used to be about TGP's giving it all away for free. Yet in reality TGP's had rules about the amount of links per gallery. Those rules meant the person making the gallery could only promote 1 sponsor meaning they had an interest in trying to promote that sponsor.

The current trend is moving to tube sites and other types of sites whom focus mainly on selling text adds, webcams and dating sponsors. You as a program owner play second fiddle to the text, dating and webcam adds.. yet it's your content being used.

If you own the content then do something about it. Start making rules that keep affiliates from putting ads to other programs on pages using your content. That is the simple end all end of story right there yet who has the balls to do it and enforce it?

(not taking about a sites main page but gallery type pages)
