Will76, some friendly advice. Please pick your fights more carefully, or at least reconsider them as time passes.
This is ancient history...I like Lisa and I am happy that she won the 5k in the contest she was in.
I don't think the original charges were levied simply to cost her a contest.
Ycaza, whom I also believe is a good person, as well as Mike, might have jumped to some conclusions, but it was not without some reason to suspect what they did during the heat of the moment.
Certainly, I would be pissed if my wallet came up missing, and then charges mysteriously appeared on my stolen credit card.
There was never a definitive answer as to what happened, as there will probably never be. People have to move on...
IMHO, it is much better to focus on the real corruption in the industry, like content theft, etc., than to focus on the smaller personal things that go on from time to time.
If the roles were reversed, I am sure you would appreciate the same.
I hope this post doesn't make you think less of me Will, because I think you know that I genuinely support and appreciate many of your efforts to shed light on negative things going on within the industry, and I believe you provide a valuable service.
Simply put, I think it is time to move on from this little sideshow, to more significant things.
I bumped into Lisa in Las Vegas in January, and she seemed to be doing fine. Unless she wants to pursue this further, I say it's time to put this to rest, in the best interest of all concerned.
