10-20x as many children under the age of 4 drown in a pool as are killed by a firearm in the US. Are parents of young children bad for having a pool? for the record, I have a pool and a 2 year old. My pool is locked up behind a "child-proof" gate that I had installed. It would seem to me that locking your guns up would be an equivalently safe action. Thoughts?
